Minister Mary Ng Visit
This summer, the Honourable Minister of International Trade, Export Promotion and Economic Development Mary Ng and Lisa Hepfner, Member of Parliament for Hamilton Mountain visited Longan Vision’s headquarters at McMaster Innovation Park in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.
Minister Ng and MP Hepfner toured our facility and engaged in conversations on international trade – accomplishments, challenges and next steps, including our experiences at the recent Team Canada Trade Missions to South Korea. Many of Longan Vision’s early successes have come from outside of Canada, and the support of Minister Ng’s department has been instrumental in that success.
Longan Vision’s team also allowed the Ministers the opportunity to test our flagship product, the Fusion Vision System (FVS), a hands-free thermal imager using augmented reality technology that helps first responders in dangerous scenarios to help save lives. They eagerly accepted and were able to try the systems within our test facility.
The continued support of the Canadian Government is critical for companies like ourselves in the first responder industry. Having Minister Ng visit was an amazing experience for all members of Longan Vision, and we truly appreciate her spending time with us.
